Lemony hummus (quick version)

Ingredients

  • 1 tin (400 grams) organic chickpeas, drained  

  • 1 large garlic clove

  • 2 tablespoons tahini

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • Juice of one lime or lemon (approximately 2 tablespoons)

  • 2-5 tablespoons ice cold water (amount depends on desired consistency)

  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor. Start with 2 tablespoons of water and increase amount depending on desired consistency.

  2. Blend the ingredients together until it forms a smooth consistency. You may need to use a spatula to scrape down the hummus and blitz again
